BASKET CLASS TO BE HELD

Carol Wheeler will offer a “Basket for Janice,” basket class on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Monroe County Extension office. The class is $60, which includes the kit to make the basket. Registration is required by Friday, Oct. 12.  To register or for more information, call 270-487-5504. 

DANCE TO BE HELD AT MT. HERMON COMMUNITY CENTER

A dance featuring “The Skahls” will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, at the Mt. Hermon Community Center. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m.

MONROE COUNTY FALCON BAND TO HOLD FRIENDS AND FAMILY DAY FRIDAY

The Monroe County Falcon band will hold a friends and family day on Friday, July 27, at 3 p.m., at the practice field, at the high school, to showcase routines that they have been working on during the summer.

SEASON PASSES NOW ON SALE

Season passes for all home game high school sports are now available for $100, and will get you into all jv and varsity games. They will available at the meet the team for football on Friday, Aug.3, at 6 p.m., at Darrel Carter Stadium.

MCMS CHEERLEADERS TO HOLD BBQ AND BAKE SALE

The Monroe County Millde Schoolcheerleaders will host a bar-b-que and bake sale on Saturday, July 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Walmart. The $5 cost includes shredded pork, chips and a drink. A variety of baked goods will also be available.
