A Concealed Carry class will be offered at the Mt Hermon Community Center on Sunday, Sept. 16,  at 1 p.m.   For more information or to register, call 270-427-8400.  

DANCE TO BE HELD AT MT. HERMON

A dance featuring “Generation” will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, at the Mt. Hermon Community Center. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, and $3 for children ages 4-10. Concessions will be available.

Funeral Services were held at Yokley Trible Funeral Home at 1 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 10, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Jeffery Lynn Steenbergen, 47, passed away Sunday, Aug. 05, 2 at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow. Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Aug. 08, at 2 p.m., at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial in the Gamaliel Cemetery. A painting class will be held at the Step Back in Time shop, located in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., on Friday, July 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. To reserve a spot, call 615-699-1919. The cost for the class is $30. The painting design is posted on facebook.
