YOUTH FALCON FOOTBALL CAMP TO BE HELD

The annual Falcon Youth Football Camp, for students going into grades K-8, will be held Monday and Tuesday, June 3 and 4 at Darrell Carter Stadium, from 8 to 11:30 a.m., with registration at 7:30 a.m., on Monday. The cost is $30 and includes four meals and a t-shirt.    

FREE FISHING WEEKEND TO BE CELEBRATED

Free fishing weekend in Kentucky will be held on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2.

Little league soccer program begins

The Monroe County Family Wellness Center little league soccer program began with a free clinic on Saturday, May 25, for boys and girls. Games will start on Saturday, June 1, and will be held in the field between the middle school and high school.

A Tompkinsville woman remains lodged in the Barren County Jail under a $250,000 cash bond charged with the murder of her boyfriend.
