BREAK IN AT LOCAL CHURCH A break-in occurred at the East Mudlick Church of Christ sometime between April 23 and April 27. Monroe County Deputy Jerry Pitcock responded to a call from Pastor Bradley Shaw, who reported the apparent break-in. Pitcock noted that entry was made through a broken glass in the back door of the church and noted that nothing was stolen and no other damage was done other than breaking the glass in the back door. However, Pitcock added, the person responsible for the break-in spent at least one night in the basement of the church. If you have any information about this break-in, please call the Monroe County Sheriff’s office at 487-6622.
